Plain-English summary of what RecoverFlow collects, how it is stored, and how to ask for a copy — or deletion — of your account.
What data does RecoverFlow collect from me?
The basics: your name, work email, and (optionally) a company name and signature for outbound owner letters. The case data: CSV rows or parcel addresses you upload, plus per-case metadata — property address, owner name, surplus amount, county, state, commission rate, and the stage each case is in. The audit tool captures the inputs you submit (state, monthly volume, admin hours, commission rate, surplus tier). The analytics beacon captures page views, button clicks, and referring UTM tags — never anything from outside the RecoverFlow site. We do not collect payment card numbers; Stripe handles all billing under their own privacy terms.
Where is it stored, and who else can see it?
All application data is held in a hosted PostgreSQL database (Neon) on infrastructure isolated to RecoverFlow. Outbound email — magic links, owner outreach letters, and audit-tool reports — is routed through a Polsia-operated email proxy that signs and delivers mail on our behalf. The analytics beacon reports events to the same Polsia API. Two third parties see narrow slices: Stripe receives billing data for paid plans, and the email proxy receives whatever is in the message being sent. We do not sell, rent, or share your case data with any other party.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Email the address below and ask for either an export (we will send you a CSV of every case, event, and outreach message tied to your account) or a full deletion (we will remove your user record, all cases, all case events, all outreach messages, and any audit-tool submissions tied to you). Trial accounts that did not upgrade keep their data in read-only form after the trial ends so you can still see what was generated; that data is purged on written request.
